Parking With Cooper : Park # 9, Folsom City Lions Park 04.08.16

This wasn't a park on our list but we wanted to go to the Folsom Zoo and we saw a park right next to it and both Delilah and Cooper were ready to explore a new park.   We all really enjoyed this park, even though our visit was cut short when Cooper got dizzy playing on a spinning toy and went face first into a bench and got his first black eye. This park was huge, had restrooms, 2 play areas, lots of seating and BBQ pits. The first playground was a traditional one with slides, swings, monkey bars, a rock wall, a balance beam and the spinning toy. The other side of the playground was a cute little wild west town with a huge covered wagon to play with. There were also a few trails that led down to the river.

Mom's Review: This park was really awesome  and so much fun for both kids. They had a blast racing down the side by side slide. They also liked the little wild west town. They took turns pretending to work at the little shops. They ran between both sides of the park nonstop. This park has a lot of shade and is surrounded by trees.  The only complaint I had with this park is there are a few shady looking people just walking around, but they weren't bothering anyone.

Coop's Review: I really liked the tall ladder it was really steep and when I went down it was so fast. The Zip line was so fun and I was flying across.   I didn't like the spinning chair. I got waaaay tooooo dizzy and hit my face on the bench. My mom took me to get dessert though and she says we can come back again.

This was the last park Delilah got to explore with us before having to go home.

Delilah's Review: I liked the town part of the park the best. The wagon was huge and I liked pretending to drive it while Cooper used the binoculars to see if any bad guys were following us. The slides here were tall but still a lot of fun. I didn't like that I wore sandals and kept getting wood in my shoes. Cooper got hurt and we had to leave early, but I want to come back.
