Park # 18, Dry Creek Community Park 04.28.16

Before we came to this park, I had showed Cooper a bunch of pictures and he was already calling it the Tarzan Park.  It's a really cute little park.  It has two tall slides, lots of things to climb and traditional swings.  There was a full size basketball court where Cooper went back and forth trying to learn how to dribble.  This park has a huge covered picnic area and really clean bathrooms.   I even saw a couple of tennis courts.  There was also a nice little hiking/biking trail along the back of the park.

Mom's Review:  I loved that this park is built on poured rubber so I wasn't picking bark out of my shoes for an hour.  It was the cutest little park.  I loved how unique it looked and a few of the climbing toys were different  from the past parks we have gone to.  This park is pretty new, so there is no shade and there weren't any trees.

Coop's Review:  This park was kind of boring because it only had two slides and when you go down them they are so slow.  I did like the circle tunnel that you have to climb through.  That was fun and different.  I loved the basketball court.  I was dribbling all over the place.  I would maybe come back with my bike so I can explore the bike trail.

Learning how to dribble at the basketball court!

Dry Creek Community Park, Roseville CA

This Tarzan themed park is so adorable!!

Cooper loved this funny tunnel!  He said climbing up was easier
than going down.

Cooper trying to get down the tunnel, trying not to
smack his head.

The climbing net to get up to the top of the play area was
one of Cooper's favorite parts of the park.

Before leaving the park Cooper wanted to see if he could climb
up the tunnel like it was a monkey bar.  He was too tall to do this.
