Park # 8, Walter and Doris Rickey Park 04.08.16

This is a small park but Cooper and Delilah liked it and had a good time.  There is one main play area, 4 swings and some toys to bounce on. They have a shade tent over the park and 1 picnic table to sit at while the kids play.  There is a cool path and along the way there are little sculptures you can play music on.  This park has a lot of open space for running and playing.  We normally bring a Frisbee toy and throw it around.

Mom's Review:  This isn't one of my favorites but it's not horrible.  The kids had fun with the climbing wall.  I wish there was more shade, and a bathroom.   I really liked the walk path with the music sculptures. The kids really enjoyed making noise. It was such a nice walk with flowers all along the way.  I liked how much open space there is.

Coop's Review:  I loved climbing up the rock wall and the ladders.  The slides are kinda small so I don't really like them and I just spent most of the time climbing up the slides instead of going down them.  I also liked the music part of the park.  The bells were my favorite.

My niece was also with us for this park visit.

Delilah's Review:  All I did at this park was the slides and it wasn't very fun.  My auntie pushed me too hard and I fell out of it.  I don't want to come back here.

Cooper's favorite part of the park, Delilah not so much!!

I couldn't keep Cooper off of this climbing wall!!

All the climbing things are so cute and fun!!

One of the sculptures we found on our walk!!

Cooper and Delilah both loved making noise with the bell!!
